Get iPhone Emojis on Android

Like everything else, even the appearance of an emoji is made to look superior on an iPhone device as compared to the emoticons on Android smartphones.

Many people consider Android emojis to be outdated, bland, and just boring in general. The iPhone popularized the use of emojis in normal conversations to express emotions because of their more demonstrative designs.

But obviously, people cannot afford the luxury of buying an iPhone simply because of its more exclusive range of emojis. It has come to the point where Android users now want to experience iPhone emojis on Android smartphones.

But is that possible? Luckily for you, it is.

Here’s How to Get iPhone Emojis on Android

There are two direct solutions for when you want to experience iOS emojis on your Android device. You can either opt to download an emoji app which will save you the trouble of rooting your phone. But if you want to get a more immersive, authentic experience then you’ll need to use the second method which requires rooting your Android device.

Now let us discuss both the methods separately.

#Method 1: Using Emoji Applications

Before we begin, please note that the steps mentioned below might be slightly different depending upon your phone’s company and model. However, the overall procedure will be the same for all kinds of devices.

There are many popular Apple emoji applications available for download directly from Google Play Store. But if you don’t want to go through the trouble of finding one, you can just go with Kika Keyboard.

Step 1 – Open Google Play Store.

Step 2 – Search for “Apple emoji keyboard” and scroll through different options.

Step 3 – Select a suitable keyboard from the list like Kika Keyboard or Emoji Keyboard.

Step 4 – Download and install the application of your choice.

Step 5 – Now you’ll need to set the emoji keyboard as your default one. Go to Settings.

Step 6 – Locate and tap on the “Languages and Input” option from the “System” menu.

Step 7 – Find and select “Default”.

Step 8 – Locate the emoji keyboard that you downloaded and set it as your default keyboard.

Step 9 – Tap on “Ok” or “Confirm” to proceed.

Now you’ll be able to use emojis that are a close copy of the ones that you would find on an iOS 14 device. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get the exact copies of iPhone emojis unless you root your phone.

So this was the simplest guide on how to get iPhone emojis on Android without root. There are some other, less popular, methods as well that don’t require a rooted device.

Using a Font App

By default, your phone might allow you to change its default font type. If not, you’ll have to consult some other method to experience iPhone emojis on your Android device.

Here’s how you can download and use an effective font application like Emoji Font 3:

  • Emoji Font 3 is not available on the Play Store. So, you’ll need to download it from your browser.
  • Before downloading, go to your Phone Settings.
  • Find and select Security.
  • Allow your phone to download files from Unknown Sources by checking the relevant box.
  • Download and install Emoji Font 3 app from your browser.
  • Then go to Display in Settings.
  • Find and tap on Font Style.
  • Choose Emoji Font 3 when the Select Font option pops up.
  • Tap Yes to give your confirmation.
  • Now download and install Gboard – Google Keyboard application from Play Store.
  • Afterward, select Gboard as your default keyboard.
  • Now, tap on the Select Input Method button.
  • Choose Gboardwhen the Select Keyboard message pops up.
  • Now tap on Done.

And that’s all you need to do to pull off a successful iOS 14 emojis download on your Android device.

If your phone doesn’t allow you to change your font, there are ways to force-change your font as well. But we would advise you to not go through all that trouble and instead opt for other alternatives.

#Method 2: Get iPhone Emojis on Android with Rooting

Before we begin, you must successfully root your phone. The process can be tricky and risky, so we recommend taking an expert’s help.

After you’re done with rooting, follow these steps:

Giving Relevant Permissions

  • Go to your phone settings.
  • Go to Security.
  • Allow your phone to download the device from Unknown Sourcesby checking the box.
  • Choose OK when the confirmation message pops up.
  • Grant any other permissions if your phone asks for it.

Downloading iOS Emoji Magisk Module

Step 1 – Download the iOS Emoji Mask Module and install it on your phone.

Step 2 – After installation, open the application.

Step 3 – At the bottom of the screen, tap on the Add (+) button.

Step 4 – Choose emoji.zip file. The installation will begin and it might take a few seconds.

Step 5 – After the installation of the module is completed, you’ll see a dialogue box.

Step 6 – Tap on the Reboot button on the dialogue box.

Step 7 – Your phone will start rebooting. Wait until your phone switches on again.

You’ll now be able to use iPhone Emojis on your Android device.

Conclusion

Downloading and installing iOS emojis on your Android device might not seem like a big deal to many people. But if you want it, you want it – nothing else should matter.

Fortunately, there are several methods through which Android users can experience a glimpse of the Apple interface through their emojis. The methods that don’t require rooting are great for people who are okay with a close copy experience of iPhone emojis.

However, if you want the emojis to look and feel the same as in iPhone, you must go for the methods that require you to root your phone. In the end, both methods are safe and won’t hamper your phone’s performance in any way.
